Looking forward to seeing this movie. Last two times I've gone to the movies, the trailer looks fantastic.
Just saw the Knives Out movie a few days ago, really liked that one also.

Later in January. I ready Disney has IMAX and Dolby formats locked up for a month with Star Wars, so you won't be seeing it in large format for awhile

Getting very good reviews so I have reservations about it, but will take my kid to see it on the big screen.

Here's another good war movie coming out based on the preview I saw- "Last Full Measure" based on a true story of a MOH winner

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0783640/

Tired story line. Previews looked boring to me. Of course they are going to hype it as the greatest war movie, they want people to pay to see it.

Peter Jacksons' documentary on the other hand, "They Shall Not Grow Old", was excellent.

Yep. Been reading books about WW 2 since 1964. Same with war movies. It always is that same, tired story line. We win, they lose.

Almost done with this tired book......

Then I'll read this tired story.........

Went to see it today. It was epic. These days, don't see many good movies and stories like this.

Very intense.

I wanted to go see it and everyone I talked to said it was terrible. I'm glad to see there might be some positive reviews out there.

It was amazing and intense. The way it was shot into almost 1 cut was amazing.

Look close. The number gets lost with the times if it is the first listed movie in the theater. I had the same problem.

Panning it W/O seeing it is worse, IMO, than hyping it. 😉

I went in not seeing the trailer. Kinda knew what the story was about, but that is it. Just a WWI movie.

Lets see: no boob shots, no nudity, no starfighters, no car crashes, no current social statement, no lasers, not much CG, some british slang. I can see how some might not like it.
