Wow, glad you are OK. I use starting fluid a good bit also as I own stuff that sits for a while and needs to be coaxed. I will definitly ore careful in the future.

Had a similar outcome after or attempting to fill a butane portable soldering iron. Scared the crap out of me and like you, lucky I didn't kill or maim myself...

I really didn't tho.....it was like a cannon shot direct hit...I actually saw the burst!!
