One of the videos looked like the poor UPS guy was still in the truck when the shootout started... Bystander and the UPS driver... I feel bad for Law Enforcement in this situation.. They had to stop the guy and innocent people were in the crossfire.

Jewelry heists are not random. Typically well organized and for what ever reason Colombian gangs have been doing this for a long time. Prayers to all involved especially the innocent. Reminds me of the 80s in Miami

Not to knock LEO's .... but that intersections is really busy .... They should have let the vehicle keep moving until it was on a less busy street ....

They had a Helo on top and were not going to lose a UPS truck ... but hate to second guess their decisions ....

This is why everybody needs to practice situational awareness and quick decision making skills. Easier said than done.. I know. If your in a bad situation quickly think of the means to end it or flee.

I'm pretty sure the UPS driver is not allowed to carry on the job. He only had one option.

Seems like they are trying to throw the LEOs under the bus, not known who shot the driver or bystander, perps had already started firing at the store, things got ugly for sure, cops put them down as best they could, sad and tragic outcome, but the blame stays with the perps

I’m not the one to judge, interested in the LEO’s here opinion, but cops using cars with civilians in them as cover while blasting away doesn’t seem right. Poor people in their cars getting fired on by perps and due to traffic can’t get away

You weren't there, you're not trained in this, your opinion is worthless.

Wow, your opinion of me matters , well, less than you could ever imagine. And your attempt at an insult is lame.

Wow guys, chill....bad situation for sure, could have been much, much worse....think the
perps would hesitate to shoot anyone that got in their way as they tried to escape? Cops did well to limit the loss of life, again, blame stays with the perps
