Just watched an episode of American Greed and they said the #1 was Jamaica which surprised me. China, Philippines, and Mexico were all mentioned. They never mentioned Nigeria. Jamaica actually extradited a ring of scammers to the U.S. and they were all prosecuted. They each got 6 years in prison, which in my mind wasn't enough. They scammed a woman with a lottery scam, they took a picture of a check drawn on Bank of America made out to the women for $3.3M. Told her she had to pay the taxes and fee's and scammed her out of $265K before she realized she was getting scammed.

They were also talking about scammers in other countries that threaten people in the U.S. that they are going to be taken to jail for unpaid taxes. Then they hire someone from the U.S. to visit the people they are scamming when they stop paying money. They arrested the guys that lived in the U.S. with several different charges including terroristic threats. The FBI admitted that they don't catch even 5% of the lowlife scammers. To me it seemed like they didn't make a whole lot of effort to catch them either.

If you have a family member that was scammed out of a couple hundred thousand bucks I don't know how you wouldn't try to track the low life's down and do a little personal justice. If you get scammed there is almost no chance the people will ever be found and even less that they will ever be prosecuted.

US. Been scammed by our own for decades, and not little emails here and there hoping for 1 fool in a million. We've got 140million being screwed daily.

Not sure of the definition, but the most corrupt country I've ever done business in (or tried to), where dishonesty, deceit, shadiness and thuggishness are not only prevalent but literally ingrained in the culture... is hands down Russia.

Chinese culture is all about deceit We don't deal with Russia much but China rips us a new one daily and we just take it.
