I Haven't watched it yet. It will be hard. One of my family's best friends is in it. Only briefly. He died unexpectedly last year. Veteran and teamster who did more for my family than anyone I can think of. God ****ing dammit, the world just isn't fair sometimes. Bern, as we all gather for a holiday you had with us regularly, you will be missed. I know how much being on screen in this meant to you, and I'll be looking forward to it.

I was watching it tonight and have enjoyed it so far. Mobs, politicians, unions, Hoffa, and the corruption that was prevalent in that era. Itís a 3-1/2 hour long movie, I watched 2-1/2 hours of it and had to call it quits at 11:00. Iíll finish tomorrow when the wife and kids are out shopping.

Ha I put it on around 10:30 tonight. Fell asleep not sure when but just woke up on the couch going upstairs to bed now. Like many Netflix and amazon prime movies itís just missing something to keep my attention for more than 15 min. Like a b rate movie.

I find it difficult to watch this same group of actors playing similar roles from movies like Goodfellas, casino and Hoffa. Add that to the fact that they can't physically move that well and seem to shuffle around.

Watched it las night, Scorsese may have gone back to the well one too many times. Great story, done in retrospect by main character, De Niro. The sets, the cars, clothes were great but it just dragged too much imo.

Crap. As soon as they de-aged Deniro I was done. Lasted a little over an hour. Just glad I didn’t go to the theater to see it.

Boring AF. I kept waiting for Pesci to stab someone in the neck with a pen but no go.

I'm in the, meh camp. This day and age how they still can't make it look real when people are being filmed in a moving car is beyond me and the bad makeup/hair jobs is sad.

Not worth the 3+ hours, that's for sure.

The Sicilian shuffle is a real thing. My grandpa had it and my dad is getting it. You watch them over 70, and you get the shuffle. The dudes actually moved like that.

So what are you saying, your buddy has to wait to more years before he won't walk out?

It's like watching golf, you can take a little nap and not miss anything. The over 60 crowd considers this a plus
