Default So...Kaepernick...

I ask you...is there a more conceited and self centered individual in all of sports?

From what I heard he changed the venue of his own private combine or tryout or whatever it was like an hour before it was to happen. Out of 32 teams that were going to observe only 8 went to the new location and the rest just went home.
Kaepernick wanted to be in control of the "event" and not let the NFL dictate anything to him.
Smooth move I tell ya.
You would think if he were really interested in having a go in the league again he would have tried his best to show he was ready to be a team player.
But no...He made it readily apparent it was ALL about him. So he got no calls and no offers.
Watch him sue claiming discrimination or some other cockeyed thing

If the dude REALLY wanted to be in the nfl he would be. He opted out of his sf contract and turned down an offer from Denver.

he can go kick rocks.

Why not, you want to be in control of your own destiny don't you, The NFL's stipulations were no cameras, he wanted the session taped and the only way to accomplish that was to change location.
There are approximately ninety six QB in the NFL, Kaepernick is better than 75% of them, he should be on someone roster.

If you want to take a knee take one. But this past weekend showed me that maybe the owners were smart and knew this guy was just working on his own brand and did not really want to play.

No way i would let that train wreck on my team. And my team is the redskins.

So, you would let each of your employees determine their own rules?

I don't like kaepernick or his antics one bit, BUT...

the nfl sprung this workout on him with less than a weeks notice, and they set it for a Saturday. As in the day before game day. As in the day every coach worth a shit is busy as hell. And on the eastern seaboard.

Dude has talent, sure, but in my mind he decided a while ago he was never going to play in the NFL again.

I read an article today that said they had cameras from Nike there filming footage for a commercial. Nike is really playing with fire with this political BS.

I don't have to like his objective but I damn sure like his conviction.
I'd much sooner be alone then kiss ass to be part of a group that I didn't believe in! Double props he holds true to his beliefs!

He flunked the tryout before he even touched the ball.
From inception it had nothing to do with athletic ability.
Majority of scouts took a pass on the change of venue and it wasn't because they had a uber waiting.

He reminds me of an angry child who is breaking his own toys to get back at his parents.
