Default Greta Thunberg Sailing across Atlantic

This was on our local news since she is leaving from Hampton, VA. 35 degress today with 20-25 mph winds, fairly large storm coming up the east coast tomorrow-Friday, 48' wont seem too big out there, all because she doesn't want the carbon footprint of a flight back to Europe. Crazy. The Sailing couple GF is smoking hot, I may have to check out some of their you tube videos.

"We just said yes straight away because we just did a big 10-day sail and we loved it so much and we're pretty keen for another adventure like this,"
That does not sound like something I'd like to hear from somebody who was about to sail me across an ocean in in-climate weather. Sounds more like a suicide mission to me....

Because of her concern for Mother Nature, Mother Nature will surely guide foul weather away from her,,,, NOT.

This will not be a fun "cruise"! After her trip over the first time, kinda surprised she is going back, have to give her credit for sticking to her convictions.

The good news for her is if she doesn't make it, she has only cut her life short by 12 years (I guess now maybe 11). LOL

I was in the Grand Teton's a few weeks back enjoying the view when she and her dad came up to take photos in front of us.

Several close friends have met the sailing couple, they just spent a lot of time in the Annapolis area. Very cool people from what I'm told, and have done everything on their own. They've earned this lifestyle.

Elayna and Riley are the real deal, and are experienced sailors. They didn't start out that way, but they've certainly made name for themselves. Sailing LaVagabonde is about the only YouTube sailing/boating chronicle that I will watch. Start from the beginning and watch them learn and grow. They've got great chemistry, good hearts and tons of charisma.

As it relates to "making it to the other side..." this isn't the first time the sailing couple has crossed an ocean.

With her notoriety, I'd expect that there would be a shadow vessel following nearby just in case.
But then again, if she were to be lost at sea, they could blame climate change and she would be beatified.

No but apparently it’s not the typical tome of year to do it, If Greta think she’ll be dead in 10 years due to climate change then what is she have to lose

The wave models are absolutely crazy in the Atlantic right now. No one with experience would take a 48' boat across the Atlantic in the current conditions. This has to be a publicity stunt or something.
