Default major accident SC

With all thoughts, first, to those who were killed or injured. We were stuck in the traffic jamb because an 18 wheeler heading north on 95 near Florence (Timmonsville) SC, jumped into the south bound lane. Knocked a car off the bridge and also hit a pickup. 3 dead and 2 critical. They all deserve our prays and good thoughts.

But this post is about is way too many drivers, ass holes, who continued to drive in the closed left lane, Traffic was a mess and 1 95 south was totally closed and diverted. Some trucks tried to stop them but they drove on the shoulder/grass to get by. If you do that you are a true scumbag, a fine example of what is wrong with too many of us.

Again, keep the victims in your thoughts and may the other selfish, uncaring, jerks go to hell.

We had the same going I95 North one year. We were a couple hundred yards behind where they closed the interstate down. When they opened the lanes we passed the mess and it was pretty ugly. One of the SUV's had flipped and all the vacationers vacation stuff like golf clubs and bags were strewn everywhere. Found it interesting, that the county deputies escorted the traffic up to the county line at 30-40 miles per hour the entire way.

a few times a year i travel up to ct from nc, i avoid 95 all the way, aside from a few short stretches where its unavoidable..that road was designed and built to accommodate traffic 40 years ago, that whole thing needs widening, paving and better patrolling
