It was the Mariners learning systems course which you take the test at a certified location with a proctor

My certificate from the course states " Operator Of Uninspected Vessel"

I am part of a charter boat association and they have a guy that works with ppl getting/upgrading/renewing. He told me the CG is catching on to the "one week one grand anybody passes" crap and even though you have a certificate that says you passed, they know the guy that gave the test helps get ya thru. They can at any time make you retest if they feel inclined to do so. I know MLC is not one of those classes, but the CG can do as they wish.

When I went to upgrade to NC I was asked to retake RoR. No big deal. Ran down to Testing facility and took it.
