There should be a plug on the back of the box where you can plug one of these into then just mount the sensor someplace out of sight like on the bottom of the TV bezel.

-Super strong sense of smell which gets really annoying that she smells things that bother her that no one else can smell
-is 42 with no children to take care of, works 1-3 days a week, plays tennis and goes to lunch with friends then complains about doing the dishes while I work full time, food shop, take care of the bills, take care of the cars, take care of the property and much more.
-Gets worked up over what our anti-social, entitled millennial neighbors think of us

It's the drinks! Soft drinks mainly. She puts them in the freezer to get them super cold. 25% percent of the time she will get sidetracked and forget the drink is in there and of course it explodes and makes a huge mess. Other times she will have three drinks at once. She will be drinking a bottled water. Then she will make a coffee. Then she thinks that maybe she wants a diet Pepsi instead. She opens the Pepsi and takes two sips of it and then goes back to the coffee. The half drank bottled water and the Pepsi with two sips gone are a complete waste. Not to mention they don't get dumped out and tossed in the recycling. They remain on the counter like she may go back to them but never does.

Can't put her dirty clothes in the laundry basket to save her life but bitches at me for leaving a single sock on the floor.
Can't throw anything away but says we don't have enough storage space
Turns on every overhead light, floor lamp and table lamp in any room she is in, then complains about power bill

Unfortunately I have to have a land line. Bit of dead zone for cell coverage. Not that anyone calls me, other than the car warranty guy, police fundraiser guy, get out of my timeshare guy....

Laughing at that one. My wife always smells things when I never do. Then there are times I've been ripping them all day in the house before she walks in. Doesn't take but a second before she makes a comment when she enters. She's got a sense of smell like a dog.

At certain times of the year she will crank the heat up to 77-78 in the morning and then later that afternoon crank the AC down to 68. Wtf.

The thermostat whether in the house or a vehicle is a lost cause we have begrudgingly agreed to disagree on. I will go to grave believing opening all the windows on a 50 degree day and turning the heat up to 80 is not the proper way to do things. Nor is turning the heat up to 80 in the morning to "heat the house up faster".

Another one is I rode with her as the passenger in her car the other week. I now know why she gets 25% less than what the manufacturer and EPA say the vehicle should get for fuel mileage and why she goes through brake pads every 18k miles. Holy hell is she an aggressive driver. She has two speeds; fast trying to get to faster and braking hard. The art of coasting is lost on her. I had to bite my tongue for the entire ride. Swerving in and out of traffic. Gunning it. Slamming on the brakes. I cannot foresee another situation outside of an emergency where I will be a passenger in a vehicle driven by her. This I did have to bring up with her after the ride was completed. Went about as well as you would expect with a feisty Italian. Hmmmm, now I'm starting to see the reasoning for the laundry basket.

I bought a new loaded out bay boat then she has the nerve to tell me she wants a bigger boat with twin engines. Its horrible! Its been almost 3 years and she still complains about it at least twice a month. I guess that I will eventually cave in to her demands.

This is one of the reason everything in my house is controlled on my phone. It will tell me if my heat or AC has been running and it is not heating/cooling according to normal parameters (ie. Furnace is out, or window is open).

All lights, one button, every light in the house is off. Same with TVs.

Next car you buy let her drive and watch the salesperson. Let them know this is the first of three demo trips. Fun to watch.

She takes all the hand towels to do the laundry but never puts any back out. WATER BOTTLES my goodness the water bottles of varying levels of consumption all over the house and in her car, then in my car if she rides with me. I sure hope the dog doesn't mind drinking after her??

Ya'll need to find a nice neglected Canadian lass to marry...

Being a Newfie, she can fish with the best of them. Never complains about the seas or has ever been sick. Baits her own hooks and removes her own fish, all I have to do is clean them.

ALWAYS brings all the ingredients offshore to make delicious deli sandwiches. She is soooo good that any of the guys we fish with always ask if Barb is coming..

Gets the laundry done every weekend, sweeps and vacuums the house. Dusts the shelves and cabinets. Keeps a very clean and tidy house.

Does all the cooking, I try to clean up some.

Feeds and takes care of all the hens and two goats. Collects the eggs every day.

Still works (two years to retirement) and drives a 40' city bus on Hwy 54 to US 19. God bless her...I wouldnt even try....

Every Friday or Saturday can be date nite if I am so inclined.

I dunno...not much not to like.....

I'm with you in general. The exception would be in a larger or broken up house with one thermostat. It may be balanced so that by the thermostat it gets to set point, but in other areas it's lagging behind (or never gets there). I've recently put in an ecobee 3, one of the few smart thermostats that can be wired in 4-wire situations. It comes with a couple remote (battery) sensors that will help fix cold spots. It does an average of the main and remote sensors, and will act upon the average. I really like the set up. In the summer, some rooms get more son at different times, this helps the balance a bit to keep the average where you want it.

But... this doesn't work in a vehicle!
