I agree , it shows how jealously can bring out the worse on people.

Not sure why all the hate, it looks like it would be an epic party that will be talked about for years.

IMO think its likely more of a WTF shock reaction he is looking to get for a laugh , than hey look at me reaction.

If it hasn't been mentioned, I'd suggest pulling the kill switches and putting them away somewhere before the fun drunk guy decides to kick it in gear to splash the cute girl in the bikini.

Sounds like a fun party to me.

Jesus Christ - I've told you three times if you EFF it up now it's on you.
Leave it out for a little while. Chlorine pool water sounds like a great way to clean the bilge.

Seems like it would be fun but the boat is just too big. Borrow a big johnboat and slap some LEDs on it. People will get it. Fill up the front with beer and ice. There are too many things that can go south with plan A.

Sounds like a hell of a party! Awesome idea and pics are hereby requested. If I wasn't in Florida I might crash that party!!

EDIT: You must have a big-ass lull for that sucker. Don't let any of your drunk friends near the keys to the boat you know what will happen. On second thought maybe have someone trustworthy hide the keys from you because I know what I'd want to do Use the long forks and rock-n-roll.

Yeah - but there are SO MANY things that can go RIGHT!!

You didn't mention hiring the strippers - If your going through all the trouble of getting that chubby boat wet - you might as well go the rest of the way!

By the way - when is the party? I want to come to it!

There's no way you'll regret doing it. Great idea. Definitely put a huge boat in a swimming pool.

Or maybe just put it behind the pool on a trailer for people to see?

I hope you have a firm understanding of lifting operations before trying this with a Lull. A machine rated for a maximum12k lbs is rated that fully boomed in. As soon as you boom out 10'-15' your lifting capacity goes way down. You should be able to get a chart from the manufacturer that shows the machine's lift capacities throughout it's extension range. A typical Lull operator has no business trying to do what you are suggesting.

I hope you're aware of all of this but just making sure because that's a big ass boat and this could go south fast.

Legendary Marine in Destin did this with a45h footer in a hotel pool. It was a sales pitch and supposedly they sold 5.

And please do them a favor and give them the link to this thread. There's going to be a lot of value on this thread around the water cooler at Contender.

Your house
Your pool
Your boat
Your party.

Everything else has already been written and adviced regarding how to.
