definitely hire a crane and make sure he runs the outriggers ALL the way out, ask me how I know! You better mount some cleats around the pool too. That coping will not get along well with gelcoat. Best of luck and where is the party?

seems like you want to show your friends that yours is bigger then theirs-park it in the driveway on the trailer or leave it at the dock and take your friends for a ride-nice boat and I hope you get much use and a lot of pleasure from it

Crazy idea! I'd just reach out to Contender and ask where to place the lifting straps. I bet they can give you suggested locations on where they should be.

Definitely get a crane crew there to help set the lift, if not to do the lift for you. That is a lot of $$$ you're playing with there, and if things go really south, you're going to end up with a busted Lull, a damaged boat, and a cracked pool deck.

By the way, that is an impressive pool / patio layout.

If you do get it in the water how are you going to protect it from the sides of the pool? If it's in the pool no one will be able to climb on and check it out but on the trailer they will.

How will your friends use the pool at the party? I imagine most would prefer to swim than look at your boat in the pool all day?

The telehandler or is" lull" I own is an 8K but I have access to a couple other ones that are larger we were planning on getting a 12K to move it or strapping a block to my 8k. My operators are the best in biz.

Arenít you going to risk getting some oil or gas in the pool water? What about the pool water that gets displaced? Isnít that going to overfill pool and runoff creating some mess? Arenít you going to end up with a bunch of drunk dudes climbing on the boat creating more weight and displacement? As you say, this is flat out stupid but itís your party. Post some pics and good luck

I don't think it's possible to do with a Lull. You will need at least a 10k lifting capacity. Any lull with that capacity uses outriggers to reach that capacity therefore you won't be able to drive. Also the 10k capacity is with the stick all the way retracted. You will need to boom out since the beam is so wide on your boat so you will be out of capacity. I get the idea it would be funny. I'm all about a good time but a Lull won't do it. The only unit that might be able to do it is a Genie GTH1544 but those are rare and I don't think you own one.
