Default Need THT hurricane advise

I’m located in WPB. I have the storm shutters up and everything else put away. But my question for the experts is should I take down my Christmas lights? They’re under the soffit next to the fascia. They’ve been up for 3 years and it does save some time during the holidays.

The way this is moving it might not be here in 3 days and certainly the Carolinas will not be out of harm's way by then. That might not be until next weekend.

We are being stalked by a turtle.

Who takes down Christmas lights and Halloween yard ornaments? Terrible waste of time as they can pull double duty

How possibly can we give you advice without knowing did you string them up left to right, right to left, clockwise or counter clockwise? Single color, blinking? Are they plugged into the top receptacle or the bottom and what color is the extension cord?

Leave them up, The trailer will be gone as the lights attract hurricanes like a moth to a flame.
