Bragging about your wealth and material possessions has absolutely zero class, so I don't do it.

Well that's the difference. It's humblebragging

I don't think many here brag about their stuff.

...when all is forfeit, you still have your goodwill. Let your smile be your proudest possession...just like me. Sharing it is its own reward.

Geez, hard to stay afloat with all these expenses my accountants are hitting my finance guys with. Might have to sell a few companies to make ends meet this month....
I'll buy em....can always use a few more.

If you owned the company like I do, you wouldn't have this problem.

That doesn't seem like something I'd brag about.

Big deal, one works lots so they have lots of money. Isn't that how it works?
My staff, employees, and army do the work.

Oh, if you would like to share a pic or a thought of something you have, share away. You earned it.

Humble brag this!

I never understood folks bragging about their 10 year old truck that has 200K miles on it "but it runs and looks like new!" Seems like a new truck would be much more to brag about.

And I'd guess most everyone has worked hard for the things they have..whether its a 20 year old mass produced boat, or a brand new Freeman.

I couldn't agree more but mentioning something you own in context during a discussion is not bragging.

Her's a perfect example: Credit Rating affected by paying off a car?

Look at the OP's question, and then look how many people just go into say how much they owe, or really, how much they don't owe to anyone.

That's really not enough to even call my broker about...he'd probably wonder why I stated investing at a peasant's rate and be concerned I wouldn't tip him with paid week in the Caribbean this year.

With 300k I'd probably just put in something boring like a marijuana tech startup. Wouldn't lose any sleep over it if it went south it's such a small amount.
