Default Headed to south Florida this morning "boat looking"

ROAD TRIP!!!!

Help me out guys. What are some of THT for sale section questions I need to ask

The wife and I (pics posted last night in pineapple thread) are going on a sea trial on a 32 Tidewater. and looking it over real good, "thump the hull" so to speak. Look at fit and finish and wiring.. I haven't looked but I hope sea conditions are at least THT 4-6' so I can good a good understanding of how she handles in rougher conditions.

I'll report back on my findings.

Scott

Oh wow, big change! You've had that HS Express for a long time, haven't you? It seems like I've seen that pic of it in your signature since forever ago. Good luck, hope all goes well.

This is the calmest day on the ocean I have seen this year.
Lots of boat traffic, though, maybe you'll get some good wakes!
Good luck. Should be a pretty ride.

When buying a boat down here, I usually start with a few of the more common questions...

- How many times has it sunk?
- How many times has it been stolen?

Yes conditions are 4-6' THT... also known as 0.3ft with 8 sec duration

We have had it 6 years.

We looked at Edgewater 318 and 320, Tiderwater 32, Sailfish 32 and a Regulator 31. Nothing compared to the Regulator. The finest CC I've stepped on but no way in hell do I have Regulator money. A new 31 with lots of options was 350k with trailer and tax. That is insane. I like the quality of the Edgewater, didn't like the looks of the boat nor the layout, the Sailfish is the same old Sailfish and the Tidewater was quality was better than I expected, floor and sides were solid. Wide beam too. Nice entry and pretty nice flare. In lots of boat wake traffic it was stable. I still would like to see it in 2-3's in that boat.

Be real careful who you buy from. Last year a boat I looked at in Miami the seller was trying to hide that the boat was damaged by the hurricane in Texas. Just do thorough research. Good luck. Boat shopping is fun.

I would have no problem “having” to keep that HS Express of yours, always loved me some Hydra-Sports.
