Avoiding gas stations in low income areas Rant

I do a lot of traveling and find myself in low income areas quite often. I have noticed a trend that only seems to happen in these areas. People leaving their cars at the gas pumps for extended periods of time without pumping gas.
last week I waited 5 minutes for a pump to open and ended up leaving so I could find another station.
I guess when you don't work and have no responsibilities the highlight of your day is catching up on old times at the gas station counter.

It's common here too, people pull up to the pumps, then go inside to "shop" it does kind of piss you off if you just want to get fuel and go, and most places have seperate parking for those not wanting fuel, and it's not low income areas only, it's everywhere.

Yah definitely in all areas not just low income. It sure does piss me off too though!! Heck is it that hard to just pull up to a parking space to do the rest of your crap shopping?! Pisses me off even more is people who order basically a whole meal for the family plus at a drive thru!! Drive thru is for people grabbing a quick drink or two to me, not entire meals. If you want that crap, park, walk your fat ass inside, order

Now now, you know they're inside buying some menthols and having the clerk turn on the pump so they can buy $5 worth of gas.

That’s not even close to being in a bad neighborhood.
A gas station in a bad neighborhood is one where as soon as you pull up people walk up and try to pump your gas or start asking you for money.

ask your dealer where the best gas station is next time. Or quit being cheap and buy your weed in the suburbs.

I see that also.
I Hate to say it but a lot of common courtesy is taught by parents, and from my experiences, the higher income brackets teach their kids more about etiquette and courtesy.
Lower income is less concerned with those principals and more concerned with jerry springer drama.

Even more irritating is the ones that do that at the diesel pumps with their Honda's! Meanwhile I'm in my F-250 contemplating parking on top of them.. I've intentionally blocked cars in and fueled up around them just they they get irritated as well..8 gas pumps available and you park in front of the 2 diesel pumps and go inside to hang out...
