The guy just wanted to eat his lunch in the shade. You couldn't wait another 5-10 minutes siting in you air-conditioned truck? You rich people are all alike. j/k - I bet he sat there because it was shady and his A/C didn't work - courtesy to others didn't matter to him.

The ones that get me are the people at the fast food drive-thru who get their food but don't pull up until they've salted their fries and put their ketchup on everything.

it would be a good place to panhandle because Only a rich person can afford gas at those stations.

Most of the time, they are inside doing their damn scratch offs. If they win $5 they buy 5 more $1 tickets and it starts all over again.

I work in a lovely section of the city, it is very colorful to say the least. There is a gas station that is just around the corner. I tell people where to go an how to get there to get away from the station. You go there and are approached by hookers ( beyond ugly), dealers, window washers. It's like it is out of a movie!!.
I was on the phone talking to a customer ( total truth, hand on the bible) having a conversation. I stopped mid sentence and just went OMG. I literally seen a guy walking down the street, drop trouser, leave a tootsie roll, pull trouser back up an walk away. My customer was laughing so hard I thought he peed his pants.

I put the hose in, walk inside and get a few things, and when I get back to the truck the pump is still running, almost done though. Am I one of the people blocking your way?

Sounds like where I work , to the T ! I've been at the same job 36 years and it's gone from bad to true shithole here . I stopped going to the local Shell shit magnet years ago . I was younger and a bit more volatile and after a few confrontations with aggressive panhandlers I had enough . It's gone from begging to robberies while pumping , shootings within the block , carjackings , you name it . I feel for those traveling though on 84 and see the sign for gas .

Am familiar with Cameron Parish...been through it more than a dozen times...maybe more....even rode choppers out of Cameron to get to oil rigs. What you are saying doesn't sound like yall have a crime problem...sounds like yall got a Sheriff problem. Maybe he took a % cut of that 13K$$$ & the other loot????Hmm? Yall cant get him out of office? Or is he in with the "Good Ol' Boy Network" that ensures his re-election every year? The reason I'm saying all this is because with what you said has been captured on film...there ain't a prosecutor in the country that would turn that trial down...that's a slam dunk...slam the cell door case...case closed. Seems like yall better get a good man/woman to run against the current POS yall got down there.

You forgot low property taxes.

Around here done don’t even think of going to a WaWa on the first or second of the month. EBT just hit comboned with no surcharge ATM’s. The one by me has 10-15 people in line waiting to use the ATM’s then they go grocery shopping while there.
