Default Mice in attic. (Actually rats!)

What is the best solution? I have not seen one but can hear them from below. The attic has spots that cant be accessed by a human. Should I put poison blocks up there or glue traps or both?

Glue traps/snap traps. Try to avoid poison if another creature could have access to the dead ones/ don't want to kill your dog/cat.

It is very satisfying to be in bed and hear the snap of a trap!

Staple glue traps to the joist (prevents the big one from dragging them off to die in the walls)..….I like to "bait them" with a few pieces of dog food as it seems to work much better than counting on a "random" encounter from putting them where you think the "mouse trails" are.

Years ago we had a squirrel in the attic. Wife had 5 cats. I just happened to open up the attic and let cats do a little exploring.

15 minutes later the cats were playing with a squirrel tail. Just sayin...

Start a relationship with an old cat lady. Free cats.

We used these and they work well.

Whichever way you go, don't let the trapped animal mummify up there.
Check the status at least once a week and get that rotting mess out of your space.

That's what I linked above. Release them a bit away from the house and they didn't come back.

you didnít hear mice in your attic and Iím sure you would never harm any living creature. Now delete your post and this thread then go in the garage and smash your iPhone and/or laptop before the police kick in your door. NOW GO DO IT NOW!!!!!!

mice do not make much noise running around in an attic, but big rats and squirrels do.
so do raccoons.
need to find out what you need to be trying to catch

I just assumed I am hearing mice. Not sure how anything bigger can find its way in.
