Why do you hate capitalism?

The guy was just trying to make an honest living.

even drug dealers have a right to self defense.

Other than having to lay out 25k for bail, I don’t see much of a difference between ROR or bonding out.... it’s not like he wasn’t charged. Whether out on bail or not, he still has to answer the charges.

Usually bond helps hold some of your more dangerous people in jail. Granted people with money can get out but at least they have skin in the game and not out ROR...Hell, I guess we should just mail them a ticket and ask them to PLEASE show up then with that kind of thinking..

I'm starting to think that is a statutory requirement to be a judge in California......

You know, there's just a lot of situations in life where common sense just disappears.

This seems to be one of those.

He was probably the judges drug supplier.
As long as we have a "For Profit" legal system this will continue.
I served on a jury ONCE! After that I requested to be exempt for business reasons.
They wasted 3 days of my time with what should have taken 45 minutes, the defendant slept through most of it!
I got paid $15. a day, how about pay the lawyers $15. a day then see how quick they can wrap up a shit case!

lets say he had a 25k bail, and he paid it, at least some of our legal costs are coming out of his pockets and not 100% out of tax payers dollars!

He gets that money back if he shows up for court, so it doesn't pay for anything. If he hired someone to put up the bail, THEY make some money on the transaction but it doesn't lessen what our tax dollars are used for.

You are never going to win an argument with those morons on here that think drugs are ok. They are usually the same fools that hate law enforcement. It's amazing how naive some people are until drugs or criminals have a negative effect on them. Then they stop spouting their nonsense. Be safe Cracker and thanks.

Both you and Cracker read words that aren't on the screen. A few of us have criticized the story for being thin on details but I didn't see anyone here say "Heroin is no big deal, I had a bowl for breakfast."

Not heroin, but my dad did have a 5th of jack for dinner last night and smacked me and my mom around for a little while. No big deal though, alcohol is legal.
