I liked everything from Hank Williams (and Snow) to Merle to Waylon to M.C.Carpenter to Darius to now. Nobody likes Dierks Bentley?

Waylon 1974 above

Not disagreeing with many suggestions on this thread but damn.
Garth lost me with the whole alter-ego Chris Gaines thing. That was just plain weird.

Some of these guys suck. Aaron Lewis is a metal guy that went to country to keep his career going like Jessica Simpson tried.

You want some country, you need to listen to Blackhawk greatest hits album, Alabama 41 number ones album, Shanendoah greatest hits, George Strait strait out the box, Alan Jackson greatest hits, Don Williams good old boys like me Charlie Rich Smokey mountain rain , George Jones whose gonna fill their shoes , Charlie Daniels, Clint Black greatest hits, John Anderson, and on.

Trash all all this mess today and these frauds like Eric Church, Aaron Lewis, Blake Shelton, etc. country is dead today

I’m amazed it took almost 100 post for someone to mention Garth Brooks. Recently saw him in concert at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Solid entertainer.
