Default Well got me so.e nice Food Poisoning yesterday afternoon

I got home last night and the old stomach was doing flip flops around 7pm after eating seafood at 11am for lunch. I guess someone got me as I was uniform.

Damn that stuff sucks, finally broke the fever at 4am this morning

My company sold high pressure washing equipment. I often had to go to the kitchens to check layout. If you ever saw the people cooking your food you would run.

I had it the other night. Didn't know if it was a virus or the oysters I had eaten earlier. It was the virus. Passed it to my wife who was up all night last night. She's finally asleep this morning. Luckily, I had some prescription nausea / vomiting meds to help her through the heaves. Poor girl.

Would food poisoning take that long to set in?

If you get really sick, Cipro is your friend. Definitely kills anything in your system. Need prescription.

Rum used to do my stomach like that. Thinking Cracker slipped a couple of rum and cokes with his seafood lunch.

Just kidding man.

A couple of those probiotic tablets you get from CVS might help after stomach settles out.

Had food poisoning once from Applebee’s. With a hour after eating there, I was vomiting and had diarrhea.
Talk about horrible, we were at a baseball game. Bathrooms are as nasty as can be and the person I was with didn’t want to leave. I was miserable. Lasted for 3 full days. Hope you feel better soon.

That sucks. Hydrate and be careful what you eat while recovering. Feel better.

Sucks for sure and sorry your going through that, but by the tone of your post it sounds like you believe you were intentionally poisoned because your were in uniform?

If you really feel this way, your instincts may be spot on. I would look into that more if I were You!

Wait.......uniform?????? I though you retired?
Did I miss or forget something!

I got it from clams at a Cape Cod wedding years ago. About midnight, the Little Man in the Middle said “everybody out: Two exits - no waiting”. Oh, my. I had to get on an airplane the next afternoon, which somehow worked out OK. When I mentioned it to a doctor friend, he asked “Did one of them taste metallic?”. I do remember one that tasted like it had come from a can. That’s the one...

I had green chicken fingers at an Applebees about 35 years ago, never ever set foot in one again.
