I just read today that (In Ca. I think) they are floating a proposal for illegals to be able to buy guns. If I can find a link I'll add it.

You can buy a handgun out of state. You just cant take possession. It needs to be sent to an ffl in your home state. Some states will only sell long guns to you if your in bordering states and let you take possession there.
