Reliance, the sea foam green boat out of Hatteras? I think it's a Sunny Briggs. I used to mate down there and spent a lot of days fishing next to them

Here they are coming out of a rain storm over 10 years ago

Awesome, awesome, awesome beginning to what will most definitely be a life filled with perseverance, huge accomplishments, Good old fashioned hard work and well earned success.

From the top on down....everyone did a great job raising this family unit.

I'll be praying to the good Lord to cloan you folks. i

That's a huge amount of accomplishments at such a young age...

Not many kids earn my full respect at 18, he sure does!

This is a TRUE American success story. Also proves no need for college, especially for firefighter, IMO.

Of course, promotion is dependent on training and education.

Very cool....Course he gonna be a hose dragger (cop humor bud..Lol)

Really that is great he wants to do community service and at 18 getting his captain's license is an accomplishment. I almost went ahead and got mine at 24 when I was in the Florida Marine Patrol but did not, simply because I did not think I would use it and I wouldn't have... Still got all my log books to prove part of my hours...

Well Done, sir
