Heading to Pt Pleasant New Jersey tommorrow for a night or two. Looking for recommendations for a place to stay near the beach and boardwalk. No kids, not interested in late night fun!
Don't need a resort or spa stuff.
Somewhere in the middle money wise, $150 ish?
Thanks.

Google....

You can plug in location, dates, sort by ratings, price, etc. Read reviews. Pretty easy process....

Another option is Airbnb or the alike...

Of course you will find (or can negotiate) better pricing during week when people aren't visiting for weekend.

Welcome to 2019

We were there a few years ago and had to stay a bit further out to find anything modern in that price range. May have changed a bit since then, but everything was either incredibly dated or significantly higher. Ended up a couple miles out right along highway 70 if I remember correctly.

If you want right around there I would homeaway or airbnb it for something decent. Anything decent will be some distance.

The White Sands is the nicest hotel but its expensive. If you are going with a date, check some of the bed and breakfasts…. Bay Head Sands is always good.

White Sands is the ONLY place to stay there, Most of the Motels are old and yuppie crowded especially on weekends. You can go to Bay Head and stay at one of the Inns, but you are about 1 1/2 miles from the boardwalk. Bah Head is quite nice,,,,Muellers Bakery is a MUST stop!!!

Nice place, but you aren't getting a room there on a weekend after Memorial Day for $150 night - their regular weekend rates in the summer are about $250/nt.
In fact, you aren't getting any room in a decent place from Pt. Pleasant to Seaside Park (all on same barrier island) for $150/nt in the summer season.
