Default Shots Fired on Charter Boat

Not sure this has already been posted - if so I missed it.

Drunk Sarasota charter boat captain held passengers captive for 12 hours, police say

https://www.wfla.com/news/sarasota-c...ive/2053138800

I know charter captain's deal with a lot of shit, but this guy takes the cake!!

The best one I ever heard about was in panama city, fl around 2002/3 iirc.

Deckhand caught captain smoking crack. Deckhand threw crack and pipe overboard. Fight ensues.

Captain has upper hand, deckhand gaffs capt in the head. Deckhand now winning fight throws captain overboard and left him 9 miles from shore.

Deckhand takes customers back and calls uscg.

Captain swims back and is arrested upon making it to shore.

It was in the newspaper maybe someone can find it?

I may be off on the details but that's how I remember it . . .

craziest thing is it was not the will to live that let him swim back that far it was the desire to get some more crack and smoke it

Another story somewhere said they did limit out on ARS the captain made them pay and tip the mate before he would take them back to shore. He then rode up and down the coast for a couple hours.
