Default Budapest Hungary: Danube tour boat collides with boat and sinks fast

Tragic event the other day in inclement weather....

I have traveled to Budapest and can tell you the current on the Danube is no joke....With 50F water temps and 6kts current it would be tough to survive.

Hopefully a full report will come out.

Wow, very sad. Vessel sank in 7 seconds. That’s hard to imagine. I hope they find more survivors.

If you watch the video, it's easy to see how it would sink so fast...

It was a much smaller vessel that was basically run over....I doubt it even took seven seconds once it was starting to go down....It looks like about seven seconds from when the first impact...No one had a chance to prepare...Simply lucky anyone on that vessel survived....I'm waiting to read the survivors testimony.

EDIT : There is no way they will find more survivors...
