Gleason

I like watching documentaries a lot. There are so many, but Gleason was powerful. I don't watch sports and had no idea who he was before watching it.

I really like SUNSHINE SUPERMAN. About the guy who started the whole BASE jumping craze in the 70's. Used to film all his jumps and then show the films to get more people interested in the sport. They include some of his original footage but also some great HD footage too. Awesome on a large screen. Very interesting story too.

I liked Murder Mountain. I canít remember what service itís on but itís about a rugged-ish section of pot-farming Humbolt County California and its precarious social dynamic. Lol. Also some people were killed up there.

All the food industry and prison industry shows are great too because of reality and greed.

That Motley Crue show The Dirt was cool too. I loved those guys until Dr Feelgood or Girls Girls Girls or whenever they reached maximum commercial lamenessó it wasnít Theater of Pain, that was just the transition. Anyway, I didnít realize they were such bad asses. Well, brawlers.

Recently watched Free Solo, a solo rock climber ascent of El Cap which will likely be a top three athletic achievement in our lifetime. Truly amazing, and very well done film but don't watch if bothered by heights!

Ken Burns "The Civil War". I took an interest in family history of that time period after watching this.

Ken Burns "The West".

Here's a good one about a crazy old dude that gets drunk and swims the longest rivers in the world...

Food, Inc

Documentary filmmaker Robert Kenner examines how mammoth corporations have taken over all aspects of the food chain in the United States, from the farms where our food is grown to the chain restaurants and supermarkets where it's sold. Narrated by author and activist Eric Schlosser, the film features interviews with average Americans about their dietary habits, commentary from food experts like Michael Pollan and unsettling footage shot inside large-scale animal processing plants.
