1944 English three pence in good condition about $0.05 - $0.10. Is it a "WWII souvenir"?

It is pretty much worthless, unfortunately.

I thought maybe a family member brought it back....Thinking about Memorial Day it could have passed through the hands of an allied soldier who never made it home. I found 2 two-pence and 1 three-pence on the floor of the airplane last time I flew (03/19 BHM to SFO)
