Default Case for new iPhone XR

Whatís the best for shock protection, but also as comfortable to use and carry in a pocket as possible? Iíve used Lifeproof for years and have been happy enough with them. But as phones get larger the added bulk of Lifeproof becomes more problematic. Plus waterproofing isnít as important with the newer phones and you do lose some screen contact with Lifeproof.

I have that exact phone and went with the Tech 21 case thatís supposed to withstand a 6í high drop. Itís also slim enough to still slip the phone in my pocket. So far so good, but I havenít tested the drop height yet.

Look on Amazon. Good likelihood to find generic versions of above names for pennies on the dollar. Iíve bought generic ďOtterboxĒ for 6S+ for me and two kids ... $8.98 ea. Identical WITH a holster if you want it.

As much Yeti haters as are on here, yíall should embrace stuff like this.

I just put an Otterbox Symmetry on mine. A bitch to get on, but I'd say it's well protected, and still fits nicely in the "holster" pocket of my Duluth Trading Flex Fire Hose shorts.

I have been impressed with Poetic cases. I get them on Amazon and I really like the one I have right now. That being said, I have a Spigen one that was stiffer than I liked. PM me your details and Iíll ship it to you

I like to spend $10 on a case and a couple hundred on insurance, instead of 100+ on a high end bulky case.

Spigen ToughArmor or SlimArmor
Otterbox Commuter (less bulky than Defender)

Spigen Tough Armor. Great case, yet still relatively thin and not overly bulky.

Otterbox - but fits more like a Body Glove. It's not the hard plastic type. Apple threw it in when I upgraded my phone after a poor customer service issue.
