Always amuses me how many blow boats you see & how such a tiny percentage are ever under power of sail. Here Iíd estimate 19/20 you encounter are utilizing an engine.

I know zero about them, however I see them all the time on single axle trailers. A 26' boat of any kind on a single axle trailer just seems like it has to be underbuilt. Never seen one on the water and didn't know they were "fast".

Used sails are about half the price of powers I believe, so for pleasure only, put a larger Moto r on and take off.

Nicer cabins too I believe.

I have to admit I was intrigued when I saw this - not just to grab the phone to snap a pic from the deck but also that it was possible to push a blowboat that fast with an engine. Agreed on cabin space. I'd get rid of all that upper ancillary crap like masts and rigging and have a pretty cheap and sweet "cabin" cruiser for the lake when and if the lake house market ever bottoms. But that won't happen, will it?

In front of your house? Very few places on greenwood where bridges donít negate the usefulness of a sailboat.

pretty sure that boat stays in the big cove near on the Laurens county side that is actually in newberry county. Been a while since Iíve been down there, but definitely looks familiar.
