Now their stock is in the tank.

They need cash.

And the rumor mill about Apple snatching them for cheap is starting to really gain traction.

...but, good 'ole Musky. He's legit. Right?

I don't know if it's time to buy at this level. I think there's a lot of stuff going on to drive the price down to try and force Musk's hand. The fact-of-the-matter is that Musk is the closest US made auto manufacturer to bring anything to market in a very long time... and with new tech. But I do not think that he has the focus to do what needs to be done. Not sure if it'll be Apple or not, but somebody is going to come in and join him. That much I'm certain of.

Great question.

He's a scammer because he's great at convincing people that something will happen that eventually does happen, but is not viable at the level he said it would be.
Think about it. What product/products have you purchased that have come as a result of Musk?

How many tax dollars has he been the beneficiary of.

That should answer it.

Rode in one more than a few times. Have a more specific question concerning being inside one, or the fit and finish?.

I heard that if Apple buys Tesla, the car wouldn't be able to run on most roads ;-)

Maybe Yeti will buy Tesla. After all, they have mastered marketing what no one needs.

If Apple buys them you'll have to pick lint/dust out of the charging port a few weeks before it quits taking a charge altogether...then you buy another Tesla.

Apple is awesome at building things to last just long enough and their marketing department is a bunch of witches and warlocks casting spells on the populous.

To answer the question...Elon's legit.

No one has done what he has done with SpaceX.....No one.
Anyone know someone who actually started a car company and made it this far? Pretty rarified air.
How's PayPal doing?
Let alone his academic excellence.

So far nobody can detail any nefarious tactics relating to Tesla.

A scam is a deliberately deceptive action or promise to defraud someone out of their property.

What has Tesla done other than try to bring another automaker to the table up against the propped up super automaker giants that currently exist now? just because a business takes off and then starts losing cash doesn’t mean there is something nefarious going on, it’s a business. There are risks associated with that. The whole idea of success is predicated on many other people buying into the idea and actually purchasing the product. Just because the expectations aren’t being met doesn’t make the owner of the company a scammer.

If you are going to drop such accusations in a public forum you should have some facts to back it up.
