Default Getaway places

Went to camp today in the Glades. Beautiful ride. 3 boats. About 13 miles each way. Water is low and mud patches are starting to show, which are very sticky. I remembered to take a couple of pictures. I usually forget.
It's great to get away from the concrete...wherever you live, however you can.

Y'all post pictures of places you go to get away. Sure would like to see how diverse these places are. Inland, upland, high country, low country, woods, snow, mountains, creeks, trails, etc.

this is my little getaway on Useppa island.

I tried to pull up to the dock and they said "get away!!!"

Mine is behind the handlebars of a motorcycle, Murrell's inlet, Ocracoke, and pretty much anywhere else down at the coast. I don't have anything permanent....yet.

With the right sound track and state of mind...falls lake near Raleigh is my Caribbean getaway.

Yea, cruising will do it, as long as you stay away from the doo doo heads and have good tunes and scenery.

Some weekends it's like taking our bay boat on a slalom course but we make it work!
