We named our Chesapeake Bay Retriever "Teak". Not much worse than many of the suggestions you've received.

Whatever you decide, please come back and let us know.

so far I like
Penn
Grady
Tide
Finn

any other ideas?

As a Bama guy....Hard to go wrong with "Tide"...go with that one.

The more I think about it, I actually like Freeman.
Dusky sounds like a name you give your dog, in my opinion.

Now for my non-serious suggestion.
