Default Furniture Outlets: Recommendations ?

We are looking to replace our aging master bedroom set down the road a bit. Over the years I’ve always heard about the great deals to be had at the outlets in the Carolinas.

There are pages of them on Google so hard to decipher the good and weed out the bad. Any recommendations and is it still worth a road trip to the Carolinas to our purchase by the time you pay shipping etc ?

I bought a leather couch at Furnitureland South. They delivered it for free to Pensacola(lived there at the time). You’ll be blown away by the selection. It was worth the trip for me.

Thanks, I'll see if they've got a site up.

Shit they’ve got an unreal site thanks. We’re in Pensacola so that’d be worth it with the free shipping and savings.

The Furnitureland South website does NOT show all that they have and have access to. Best to work with one of their sales people to get it all figured out and to explore the offerings.

I would highly recommend certain thing while shopping for leather couches i.e Glued and screwed vs staples, kiln dried hard wood frame vs particle board, springs vs webbing. I find these to be the most important details when couch shopping.

If you're going to Furnitureland South, wear comfortable shoes. The place is huge...has its own restaurant!
We found what we wanted there but did not buy there. We shopped around a bit and ended up buying from a dealer in Hickory, NC.
Almost all furniture is going to be dropped shipped anyway.
