That said, you need to evaluate your Duke's inventory management system. For this I will save you the trouble of bring in an IE, and just 'splain how that works. The replacement Duke's is bought at the time of the next trip to the store following the prior jar moving from the pantry to the fridge. If such a trip has not occured for other reasons (such as to buy beer, bacon or whitebread......yes, whitebread is a single word) within 3 days of said occurrence, a special trip must take place within 24 hours (check beer, bacon, & whitebread supply before going). To insure freshness at all times, forego the large 48oz value sized jars (with the exception of during peak tomato season, in which case gallon size is fine, just avoid the heavy duty variety as it has added sugar and tastes like Hellman's), and stick to the smaller quart sized jars. Also, it is the responsibility of the party that moves the jar from the pantry to the fridge to immediately notify all other members of the family at the time of said occurrence, under penalty of public shaming (or sexual favors assuming they are the spouse). Due to the seriousness of the situation, a postnuptial agreement outlining this may be appropriate. If you do take the effort to protect your future culinary interests via signed contract, I would go ahead and right in details about light/olive oil/etc. varieties being inappropriate in every case, and the purchase of Kraft or Hellman's being subject to death by stoning, unless for some God forsaken reason you find yourself temporarily above the Mason Dixon Line.
Haha...this is fantastic! And highly accurate. There are definitely some process improvements that need to take place.

I also buy the small jars for the same reason. I looked in the pantry cause I usually buy two at a time but there was none, and I know she's the one who moved from pantry to fridge last. A complete communication breakdown which must be corrected.

Early in our marriage I found a squeeze bottle of Hellman's in the fridge. Addressed that immediately.

There's nothing better than a tomato sandwich made with homegrown tomatoes, salt and pepper, and Dukes mayo! You can eat them for breakfast, lunch and supper.

Strangely enough, my wife went to the store yesterday and I noticed her yesterday evening putting a squeeze bottle of the stuff in the fridge. I said, I wish you would have asked before buying because I just bought a big jar of it yesterday and besides, you waste too much of the stuff in those squeeze bottles because you can't get it all out. Of course she said, you can.

(I hate the squeeze bottle of the stuff but ketchup seems to come all the way out)

I only buy the Walmart store brand (under $2.) and MUST have 2 jars for backup!
AND you know what else us Walmart shoppers are known for!
What I hate is everytime I open a new jar then I make egg or tatter salad and use about 1/4 qt , making it harder to get out for sammiches.

Take an egg yolk and some white wine vinegar...wisk...add mustard/saltt pepper to taste.

Homemade is better than store bought...you may never go back to Dukes.

We would need to have, what we call around here, a come to Jesus meeting.

Almost shamed to admit it, but my wife eats "salad dressing" as mayo....but part of her family is from Florida, so some of that is expected.

She is supposed to be in the kitchen, that is why they wear white at wedding...so they match the fridge, stove and dishwasher

I like the idea of adding beef and pork to the tomato sammich

I gotta give this Dukes maynoiise you guys rave about another try. I only had it once and it didnt do anything for me. But the more I think about it, I might've had the "light".

I'm not much into mayo, I prefer hot sauce on everything, but if it's as good as you guys keep saying it is, there's gotta be something to it.
