I imagine that there were bigfoot type creatures at one time, some type of primate species. I bet that is where the historical accounts from tribes around the world came from. Stories passed down for generations. But, I would think they are extinct now. Perhaps, disease from other primates/humans killed them off. Time will tell if we ever see video or physical proof, but i wont hold my breath.

If bigfoot is real he is doing a phenomenal job of cleaning up and hiding the scat of a very large primate, which is the number one reason I am a skeptic.

I tend to think many of the people that report seeing Bigfoot, or any other similar oddity, do believe they saw (sorry, seen) a bigfoot, that doesn’t mean it was Bigfoot though.

A friend of mine was killed when another hunter thought he was a deer, that was at 50’.

Rich has talked about inter-dimensional beings, vast political conspiracies, and many other subjects, and relies on rather questionable internet sources for his “facts”.

A friend of mine was also. People let their senses play tricks on them.

Well, looks like a county in Washington State decided to make it a felony to shoot Sasquatch:

Yeah, but if he's a meat eater I'm sure his scat is devoured by other critters before it even gets cold. I've seen a few dogs that would love big foot. hehe

I live and travel in the heart of Bigfoot country, hiked all over the backcountry, have had trail-cams out for years almost 24/7, so far there’s been nothing to indicate an unknown animal of any kind.

I have cougar, bobcat, bear, deer, elk, moose, skunk, porcupine, coyote, turkey, plus a few other animals, the furthest camera from my house is maybe a mile at the most. The majority of the pics are from within a few hundred yards of the house.

I don’t have any wolf pics though, but they’re around where I live. I’ve seen the wolves a few times, and find their tracks every few weeks, but nothing on the trail cams yet.

How many on here have ever seen a cougar in the wild? There are thousands, but how many have any of you ever seen?

My 92 year old neighbor has lived on the property next to mine since he was born. He has never seen a cougar. They are all over our land, but he has ranched his 600 acres for 92 years and never actually seen a cougar. Plenty of kill evidence over the years, but never an actual sighting.

He doesn't believe in Bigfoot because he has never seen one. He says he would have seen one by now with all his time ranching and logging in remote drainages and areas.

I always ask him why he believes there are cougars on our properties if he's never seen one. Never answers.

I always ask him the same about the wolves that are hear that he has never seen either. Never answers that one either.

Twice. Once it was within 20' of me. Second time I witnessed one take down a deer......but both are impossible because they are extinct in these parts.

Don't think another second about it, there are only a few THT members that think posts should pass a 12th grade English test (or any other grade). I can't think of to many things on an Internet forum I could care less about than paragraphs, punctuation, correct grammar or spelling. With a few exceptions....NOBODY cares about this stuff, it's an Internet forum not a Grammar 101 college class.

er.
Two, but I have pics very close to the house, and I can find fresh tracks just about every week. I always wonder how many times they’ve been watching me.

What an insightful post. Thank you.

Nobody believes in flying saucers either, not even when Navy fighter pilots (pretty much the pinnacle of humanity) report back, "Uh, yea, this is CPT Cleetus McCoy and I just seen me a GEN-U-INE flying saucer ! What's up with THAT, over ?"

Just because we humans cannot see, touch, hear, smell, or taste something does not mean that it is not there.

As Mark Levin might say, "THERE ! I said it !"
