That is a good deal when you think about it, except WTH would you do with it? Would have to do some kind of commercial service or charter I guess. Cool though.

I wonder if it comes with a full tank of gas!

I knew a guy about 30 years ago that bought a boat like this. He sold the diesel fuel in it for what he paid for it.
Then he parted it out for about 3 times what he paid for it. Then he donated it for an artificial reef!

I don't remember if he was smart, or lucky.

It's gotta be worth the purchase price in scrap. Heck, the telegraph is worth upwards of 3-4k. Look at the vintage wheel~

As mentioned, where do you park a 200 plus footer and dismantle?

Great history behind that boat. She was involved in the Pendleton and Fort Mercer rescues off Cape Cod.
