Hard to pick just one. My Costas are a 580 blue. Oakley's are gray and shooting kit with vermillion, brown and clear. Newest are 62 mm Ray Ban polarized green. I like glass on the boat and thus the Costas (but glass ain't good for shooting). Get salt or sand on em just hold a piece of ice in your hand and let it drip on em and they clean up. Oakleys, Calcuttas, Sea Strikers, etc. ya gotta be careful not to scratch the lens when cleaning them on the boat.

If I had to pick one pair (except the shooting) it would be the Ray Ban polarized. JMHO.

Whatever you like the best. As long as it is a quality lense, any will work. I have Maui Jims and Serengetis. Dark grey, brown and blue mirror lenses. Only time I can notice a difference is when the photochromic Serengetis are in darker conditions and the higher VLT kicks in. Which would make sense as 19% light transmission is a lot more than 8% so noticeable. Eye fatigue, sharpness, contrast, etc. are all indistinguishable to me. Driving, offshore, inshore, on land, doesn't matter.

Thanks for everyone's input. Looks like I'll need to go with something in the bronze brown family now and buy another color for offshore before my next trip.

Once I went Costa 580G Green I can't go back to anything else. Clarity, sharpness miles above all the other polarized stuff I have tried before.

Great thread!
I have always been a gray lens, switched to blue, now amber.
I need 4 pairs depending on where I am. Blue eyes Doc told stick with gray. Gray is easy but I feel it muddles things.
When I am in the Keys I never wanted to take off the blue, beautiful colors.

Over all gray for comfort, blue for beauty and amber for clarity.

Smoke/charcoal in black Izod frames.

I'd get white frames and colored lenses but I don't vape.

I like Smith Optics ChromaPop lenses in Grey Green, but haven't tried the other shades. Very clear lenses.
