Cannot wait. Sunday night 9 pm.

Bummer it is the last season - 2 years in the making.

HBO has hit another one out of the park.

Strangely, this is exactly what we did. Started with season 1 episode 1 and watched them in order. We were so late to the party that we literally had no idea what to expect next, no chatter on the internet or anything because we were 7 years late in watching.

That being said, most shows have 6 to maybe up to 20 characters that you like. Game of Thrones has probably 100. All of them delivering scene stealing performances. The thing that strikes me more than anything is the casting. Who are these amazing actors and actresses? Some of them you recognize. "Oh, he was in "A Knights Tale", or "he was in John Wick", and of course Peter Dinkledge was in Elf.

I was a skeptic but I have to say it's the best series I've ever watched.

YES!!! Tonight!

SPOILERS BELOW...DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO "KNOW"...

The first season my wife and I saw "live" was Season 6. Before S6 started we somehow saw a random episode and were curious how the series started...so On Demand it was. We watched S1-S5, and then got S6 & S7 metered out to us like all the other slops salivating for it. In total, we have seen the entire series four times now. I also have watched five or six YouTube "reaction" channels as they cronicle their journey through GOT as well.

Needless to say...I am looking forward to tonight. Nothing is really known this go-around...except the subject matter for Episode 3...that entire episode is supposed to be the Battle of Winterfell. To put it into comparison, it took 25 days to shoot the Battle of the Bastards (S6E9). The Battle of Winterfell took 55 CONSECUTIVE nights to film. It's said that Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) passed out from exhaustion while on set during filming of the battle. It's supposed to be epic.

Now...I just have to keep my schedule of leaving work today no later than 4pm (shooting for 3pm) so that I can make the five hour drive home...got to be there by 9pm!!!

I watch it live via HBO Now/Go via Amazon Prime. You can also subscribe to HBO Now/Go.

We’ve been watching it “Live” since season 4 or so...absolutely the best TV show of my time. I’m excited to finish the story up and see where the spin-off shows take us, its been an amazing run.

Really looking forward to it. The fact that they needed a year off in between season 7 and this final season has made it even more of an anticipation. The sad part, though, is that the season is relatively short with only 6 episodes if I'm not mistaken. Not sure how much they can cram into 6 episodes vs the usual 10 per season.

So you know the Night King is gonna make short work of Eastwatch By The Sea and will be at Castleblack in no time at all. What happens when Jon Snow finds out he's really Aegon Targaryen and that Danaerys is his aunt LOL! That should be a good one. Can't wait to see that evil Cersei get it really good. Probably the most hated character of the series for me. She betrayed the deal for a truce and will have to pay for that, but you know she won't sit idle, either, and will attack north with the Golden Company while Jamie Lanister is fighting the Dead along with the Unsullied and Dothraki loool. Should be a lot of fun.

I was psyched until i rewatched last season. The final two episodes had really bad plot direction and I had forgotten how I didn’t like most of that. With the fatman not writing the ending and how they want to wrap it up, I’m looking forward to this season, but with lower expectations.

Just FYI added HBO to Hulu for $15 a month, will probably cancel when GOT is over.
