Sort of interesting... at the end it looked like he didn't want to play. Odd.

Is it just me or does Emma have many of the same mannerisms as James?

Yes Emma is like the chick version of James. We were joking and said that’s probably his wife

She looked thrown for a loss after her answer for Georgia-Pacific was judged incomplete. Took a long time to recover.

she copied his strategy, going for higher value questions first, she went all in on her first daily double...
last night she looked a little worried when she didn't have a big lead...

I started watching when the guy won big, but it looked to me like the fix was in, or there was at least more going on that his "normal" game. I knew before watching he was going to lose as it had been announced on a local radio station. The shows are taped in advance, so they gave out the little disclaimer not to listen if you didn't want to know. Dude was some kind of smart, that's for sure. Looked like he was going to be there for the duration, so maybe they decided that wasn't a good thing.

There was an odd vibe, probably because he met a challenger whose timing and reflexes were equally as good as his. There were a few "gimme" answers that James certainly knew, but she repeatedly beat him to the punch. It proves that knowledge of the subject matter is only part of the game, and a secondary one at that. So too, he must have felt enormous pressure to beat the KJ record, and I don't think it's a coincidence that it was in that particular game that his concentration fell short.

Could be they brought in a ringer or even gave her a little, "help". Something just didn't seem quite kosher.

She's already gone. Something about her that I didn't care for anyway.

Good, I couldn’t stand her. James should still be up there killing it.

Drove my wife nuts.....Emma needed speech therapy, she had a lateral lisp that was never corrected. She also looked quite pissed when she lost. Buh-Bye.....

yeah she also gave Alex a couple of dirty looks when he would compare her style of play and wagers to James...esp in the first one after she beat him.

Anyone watch the perfect bid on netflix?

Its about a guy that knows everything about the price is right and when he gets on the show he loses by chance. He went to a lot of the shows and became a figure in the audience that people trusted for answers and he wont them a lot of stuff. The price is right had a rule that you could only be on the show once in a lifetime but they changed it later on. It was actually a pretty good documentary.

Pretty much regular J now. It's OK. James was fun to watch... and it'll be neat when he plays again.
