Default Size/Style Recommendation

I have a 235 Kencraft CC. My wife likes to ride inside the console at times, especially when the weather is cool. Inside of the console measures 23"x27"x22" (depth from lip / stepdown inside door to bottom floor of console). It is a step down design from the deck and console door. What size / design do you recommend?

Thanks

Hello GILL'EM,

Thank you for your interest in our Ocean-Tamer Marine Bean Bag products! For your particular application I would recommend our Ocean-Tamer Round either in the small or medium size or our medium Ocean-Tamer Teardrop. Both of these models and sizes are small enough and can be manipulated to fit inside your console yet still provide plenty of comfort for your wife while you're underway.

The other option, and the option I would highly recommend, is having us custom design something that will fit inside your console perfectly and do exactly what you want it to do. This will look more professional, fit nicely and look like it came with the boat directly from the factory. This option will also take up less space and allow for more usable space inside the console.

Please feel free to give us a call at 1-800-804-0314 and one of our knowledgeable sales associates would be glad to assist you. If you would like to speak with me direct, just ask for Frank when you call our office or call me direct at (941) 737-8000.

Thank you again and I hope this helps!

That sounds great Tom; I look forward to speaking with you soon. We can definitely provide you with a product that will fit your needs, whether it’s a custom product or one of our standard models.

FYI, if this is a product that will be used solely inside your console, then as I stated above, having us custom design something is definitely the best way to go. Don't worry, we can do this very cost effectively and it will fit nicely inside your console and have a clean professional look. This will still be a bean bag, not just a cushion or pad, but it will be designed to conform to the inside of your console. We can even design the bean bag so it still has back and neck support just like our standard bean bag so your wife can ride comfortably while you're underway. We design and manufacture custom products for customers and boat manufacturers everyday so you can rest assure it will look and feel amazing if this is the route you decide to take.

If you want the versatility and ability to use the bean bag inside the console and on deck then I would recommend going with one of our standard models, only because they're more versatile and will work better in both applications. When you call we can discuss your options and, by having you answer a few simple questions, we'll be able to determine which route we need to take. If a custom designed product is the best route to take, you will be involved in the entire design process from start to finish. If a standard model is the best way to go, then I just need to ask you a few simple questions to help determine which size and style will work best for your wife's specific needs.

Again, I hope this helps and I look forward to speaking with you this week.
