Default Cowling Painting - Wilmington

I'm in the process of closing on a boat in Wilmington that has new white Suzuki's on it. I'd like to get the cowling area that's grey painted royal blue to match the gelcoat on the bottom of the boat. Any recos and rough estimates on what I'll be looking at per engine (3) to get that done?

The picture below isn't the boat, but shows the grey areas I'm talking about that i'd want painted.

I’d take them to a auto body place...

Default Cowling

I would call Mike's Collision on Castle Hayne Rd. He always has some really nice boats at his shop getting work done.

Dang man, wish I had that trouble. I took a wrong turn somewhere in life. Ha! Congrats on the new rig.

Quantum 2k. Look up the video. They have a cowling paint kit.

That certainly looks like it's a good option. The problem I have is I'm buying the boat in Wilmington, then transporting it down to FL (I live in the NE, so neither the place I'm purchasing it or the place I'm transporting it to). So, doing a project like that myself will not be feasible.

If you know of someone you'd recommend that could do it for me, I'd be open to them picking up the cowlings an painting them for me. They'd have to tape off the white area good, so it just becomes the grey area being painted. I think that grey section in the lower cowling could be removed.

If you’re going to S. Florida, look up Marine O Customs on FB. Their work is excellent and great prices.Im in SC and wish that I could get my cowlings to him to paint.

Good luck!
