Default Heads up Eastern Carolinas...here we go again.

Haven't seen too much on news or heard local banter about this but windy.com is ugly on Friday for outer banks.

Hate to be bearer of potential bad news but this could be ugly and didnt want anyone to be caught unaware. I didnt see it until i ran the euro in windy today.

Yep, can get a little sporty here in SENC. More of a concern in the NENC sounds and OBX.

From what I'm seeing, (granted its early yet)...but from what Windy is showing, its going to be a problem all the way to Norfolk and even Virginia Cape.

Flo knocked down all the trees in my and my neighbor's yards. The two big pecan trees were taken down last week. Bring it on!

OK someone fill me in, this is the first I have heard about this (I was out of town and just got back). I looked at weather.com and saw Friday they are saying it's going to get worse.

It's going to be traveling at warp speed. I can't see how it will do much damage. Hope I'm right.

I think you are right. Big risk here (on present predictions) is going to be the soundside flooding with the NW wind. Even a short period of that over 50 and its up and over. Good luck everyone. Anyone gets in a jam near Hatteras, shoot me a pm and I`ll try to help.

It’ll be a fast mover, but still dump 4-6 in of rain, with up to 10 in in localized areas

By the time it gets here, we're supposed to see tropical storm-force winds (40+mph) and heavy rain.

Boat and lift are strapped to the pilings, and everything loose is indoors.

I'm afraid tornadoes and water spouts will be a big threat in the coastal plain and marine locations.

Another hall out from the slip. Don't want to risk loosing the boat or damaging the slip.
