Good info! - Any news from 3030 or fairway ledges areas? How about 23 mile rock? Are these areas cleared up yet? Any body tried to fish there the last few days?
I have been watching the surf cams from Topsail to Ocean crest.... I have not seen a pelican in 4 days of looking.

Wonder if they will stretch the boundaries to help the southern route. The only boats Iv seen off Holden are shrimpers. Those shrimp have got to be filled with all kinds of shit. We normally buy bulk this time of the year but looks like weíre eating red meat until next year. What a mess.

Thanks for the help but I think my crowd is backing out. Couple of them still have house damage and weren't too excited about going down with the conditions. Its a shame as I was really looking forward to fishing this one.

Donít know about east side yet. Heading out there tomorrow. Bait could show up in a few days. It looks like the blues down south are much bigger than the ones at oki. While they are small, they are plentiful.
It will be interesting this year. The biggest issues are lack of bait in oki and debris. No telling where the big one may come from this year.
I saw the shrimpers this morning also. I canít see how their nets havenít been ruined. Wonder how many tires they have caught?

I am planning on fishing but my crew has backed out due to storm related issues. Hope to find a couple guys so that I can fish this weekend.

I'm headed down tomorrow. Wednesday to bait fish, and make some sort of decision. I love fishing more than a lot of things, and October at our coast, is my favorite time of the year.

Look forward to seeing you all out there. Good luck and safe travels.

It was sad.

Better check beforehand. My understanding is that they have opened the island only open for inspections.
