Hope everyone had an awsome day on the water today and you caught as many slingers as you wanted. Working off two hours sleep and running all the lines didn't give me any time on the radio. When I finally got a break and wondered why we hadn't heard from anyone I realized my brother had the radio set to 78. I'm sure everyone did just fine without us bothering you anyway?

We ran to the point caught a Mahi first thing on the troll worked the area for awhile had another knock down found a nice weed line ended up bailing dolphin then ran in. For the first tile fishing my own rig out of OI I take it as a success. Also thanks to badluck fishing with us you were a huge help.

On another note I like to take the kids in the sound to fish - any locations you could share. I was thinking of drifting between the inlet and bridge on an incoming tide. Also any shark action inside the inlet my 10 year old nephew would go nuts if we caught one. I saved the Mahi belly’s for it.

We had a good day fishing. We caught 7 with one being a gaffer... all on the troll. Saw fish airing out next to the grass line when we pulled up. When we pulled the lines in to head home we were 45 miles from the inlet. Set a course for home and the motor died 9 miles east of the sea buoy. Sea tow had an ETA of 3 hours so the coast guard came and towed us in. They were very courteous and professional. Probably glad it was them towing us through that bridge. Bad ending to a great day on the water.
