Default US Open

How many of you guys are fishing the US Open? It was my first tournament last year and I loved it. We are planning to hit it again this year...

Being SKA actually turned me off a little bit. Did you not fish it previously because it wasn't SKA?

So do you have to be a member of SKA to fish it?

No, SKA sanctioned tournaments are not limited to SKA members.

Last year I think there was something like 400 boats that fished it. Pretty big tourney. I just really liked the atmosphere

The open averages about 400 plus boats. The year we won it there was 408. The next was about 420. It's probably the second largest turn on the east coast as numbers go. I'm honestly not sure if the ska deal will hurt or help. I did enjoy it not being ska. I guess we will see.
