exactly. Go shut up and fish. Legal fish are legal fish. No charter is stupid enough to risk their reputation and license for undersized mahi. I don’t keep the little ones but don’t judge those who do.

Left from Sea Breeze Marina @415.. Headed south , sloppy and rough NE wind was blowing steady..lines in on a scattered weedline at 450' nobody home.pushed out to 700' another skimpy line, one in the box within 5 minutes..30 mins later and nothing pushed out to 850' a few mats with scatter line fires off immediately, followed by the second, landed the double..picked at em on the weedline for a bit but it was slow
Ram back in to try find something else closer to home.. beautiful weedline coming together @400' worked it a bit and nothing we were shocked...temps from 76-79 no hard edges that we or SST could find...
12 total in the box

Default Chs 5-10

Went out of CHS on buddy's boat on Friday. Headed toward 380 hole. Saw great temp changes in 400 feet but kept going and put lines in at 600 and trolled to 1000ft. 16 dolphin. Bumpy on way out but laid down nice.

Yesterday fished the 226. 0/2 on sailfish and 6 nice fish including a 40lb Bull. Fish 300-800’. Weeds scattered. Last 10 miles of the ride in were pretty annoying.

Curious if anyone knows the boat Gamecock? We fished Bohicket and they were locked into a huge marlin that sounded last Saturday and when we
pulled lines they were trying to plane it up..... never heard the ending......

Nice. Was that you at the SI boat ramp around 4:30? We brought back 5 and lost two that were like your biggest. The ocean was lovely in the AM and nasty in the PM

No......it was Gamecock. Game On was in the tournament. Just wondering, they had a long night ahead of them.

Gamecock is a 31 Bertram out of Edisto. They broke it off after it sounded.

Forecast was 2 x 7's at the bouy, not far off the mark....but the swells were in our face the whole way out....it was an ass beating. We got to The Garden's and the AJ's were a nuisance. My nephew on his first off shore ride realy wanted to catch a reef donkey....after 1, he was done with AJ's.

Surfed the swells coming back in until 5 miles from the jetties and the ass beating resumed.

Almost a limit of B-liners and some stud BSB. Had a 7 foot hammerhead circle the boat for 5-6 minutes. Crazy looking fish.

We were in about 120 north of the weather buoy. Thought the seas were fine, ride out was easy, ride back was easy. But I'm an I/O cruising 18-24 mph and ran a heading not dead into the seas, so maybe that's the difference. No butt kicking received. We really struggled on fish though. Handful of Porgy and B-liners but just never really found what we were looking for. Girlfriend requested triggers so we went with smaller hooks, straightened some hooks and lost another handful of fish. All of that pack is going in the trash. Almost ran over a turtle on the way back in and it was loaded with cobia. Put a bait in there but missed the hookup and it all just disappeared. A day of almosts for us.
