Any Daytime sword guys out of Charleston? Ive heard folks do it but don't know much other than what Ive read about overnight trips to the Bump. Not quite ready to tackle an overnighter until the seas are more consistent.

Are you using Windfinder or did you bite the bullet and pay for Reefcast? Looks like the afternoon will deteriorate to 3 feet at 9's. May have to make a short run for spades to a nearshore.

I really only use sailflow. 3' at 9 isn't too bad for me. Looks slick in AM and picking up a hair around 2 or so.

Reefcast is looking solid for Saturday, as of now we are going out. As long as the wind doesn't pick up, we are fishing.

Still looking like 2-3' at 8-9 secs, with 5 knt winds.

Gonna look at some imagery tomorrow evening to decide where we will head.

Gonna be flat in the morning, but that wind is picking up in the afternoon. Should be a parking lot in the ocean tomorrow. As of now we are going straight out, and dropping lines around 600' and trolling deep.

What's that...live bait and bottom down south? I'm hoping these numbers I'm planning on running to have something down there. Should be interesting. Wondering about storms now, though. Weather showing some severe stuff supposed to roll in around noon (land) according to my better half, but I haven't had chance to look yet. Been a year or so since I've had to go through Hell to get home...guess we may be due.

We'll probably get bait around Ben Sawyer or right at mouth of ICW/Harbor by Sullivans. Buddy says cigars are on the cans out there, too, but not sure I want to take a chance and not get bait inshore before heading out.

PM Me your number, John

I will be draggin' my kids around behind the boat instead of baits. After that...will probably end up at Capers for cold beverages.
