Default Beaufort NC Eating

My wife and I are going to visit the area in a couple of weeks, as part of our "do we want to live here?" tour. Can I please get some suggestions for eateries? Among other things, I'm hoping to get some local oysters, being is it'll still be a month with an "r".

Thanks in advance.

Beaufort Grocery (brunch/lunch favorite)
Queen Ann Revenge (QAR) (waterfront)
Clawsons (burger favorite)
Royal James (dive bar burgers, longest running business in beaufort)
Fins (waterfront, seafood and reasonable)
Stillwater aka Rhumbar (best deck/dock on the water)

For oysters, go down to Fishtowne and pickup a peck if you're comfortable cooking them yourself.

Speaking from my own experience, I'd say:

Pizza, Salad, Spaghetti goes to No Name Pizza. Not flashy, but good food.

Ribeyes on the main stretch has good steaks and salad bar. They haven't been there but a few years and being that it's a small chain, I don't know how long it will last. However, the food and service has never disappointed 3 years and counting.

I've ate at others on the water, but was never impressed enough to go back.

Best food within range has to come from Amos Mosquitos across the water in Atlantic Beach. I eat there at least 2 times a month. Steaks and fresh seafood. They open at 5 and there is always a wait, but it's well worth it.

Add Rudy Ducks to the short list of favorites. I like the fish and chips or fish tacos at lunch. Accessible by boat or car.

El Zarpe is hit or miss on the Mexican food and Channel Marker is still my spot for peel and eat shrimp, but over the bridge in AB.

All the places mentioned above are good choices. In Beaufort add Sputter Inn on Front St., Plaza Mexico is best for Mexican, City Kitchen at Town Creek Marina is excellent. The Bistro next to Beaufort Grocery is also good. I hear Sammy's not MHC waterfront is the place for oysters.
Plenty of good eateries in the area.

Ruddy Ducks and Amos Mosquitoes are my favorite nice restaurants, For a nice meal after fishing I like to go to fins, you can fill up your boat at their dock and then go eat. No Name pizza is also really good, not fancy, it even has a drivethru, but its really good.

Blue Moon Bistro in Beaufort is our favorite currently. I also like Circa 81 in MHC although it's not on the water, if that's important to you.

When it's open and there's a table available. We've had bad luck.

Beaufort - Stillwater at Front St is the best, Old Salt just re-opened and they are good and the pound cake desert is out of this world. I've found Clawson's is hit or miss. Ribeye's is always good if steak is what you want. MHC - Sammy's on the water front should still have oysters, and have the best seafood chowder hands down. Ruddy Duck is always good with different menu items but there is always a line and I hate to wait.
