Default Charter Captain Needed, Morehead City Area

I am a Plant Manager of an industrial fabrication shop in Rocky Mount. I am looking for a charter boat out of the Morehead City area for a "team building exercise" in the next week or 2. There is only 4 of us going out, so I don't particularly need a huge boat for us, just wanted to get with an experienced captain that could put us on some fish this time of the year. I know the Wahoo bite has been pretty good, but I don't know what else is around other than bottom fishing. I was hoping that you folks could provide some suggestions. Thanks

If you want to go jigging, I'd do Procastinator. He's good at jigging/bottom combo trips.

I know some of them are on the hill for annuals. Bill Collector being one of them. I would focus more on bottom fishing if it were me.

Been trying to get in touch with John. Have enough time for a 3/4 day and Mike needs a full day with his 61'. Just got off the phone with Bill Collector and he is in the yard as are a lot of guys. I think procastinator will be my best bet, or someone with a speedy boat to get out to the stream and back in a 3/4 day. Well, 6am-3pm at least.

I'd be Leary of pelargic.I don't know of the mate. But had a bad experience with capt Mike. He lied to me thought I did not anything.I hold a master lic. Had friends take off work . only to have him cancel trip hours before said weather was bad. Truth was he had late request from a friend. Could of been truthful and got us on another boat. I can't stand a lier.

I really appreciate all the help guys. We are going to try to squeeze some Wahoo/Blackfin action in on a 3/4 day trip on the Procastinator. I'll let you know how we did. Just hope the weather holds out and the break isn't too far out! Thanks again for your recommendations.
